The cane-corso is from Italy. The cane-corsos (Italian mastiff) are used for hunting, specializing with wild boar, stag, and bear. The coat is short, dense, and harsh. The coat colors are: black, blue, chestnut, tawny, red, or any of these colors brindled. The average cane corso weighs about 110 lbs. and is 24 inches tall at the shoulder.
